I am still in shock that it has been 10 years since we graduated from high school! I finished school in Boulder at the University of Colorado. Did a year of service in AmeriCorps with the HealthCorps, between my 3rd and 4th year at CU. Realized my healthcare philosophy was significantly different from that of conventional medicine. Decided to move back to Seattle and attend medical school at Bastyr University, where I earned my medical degree in Naturopathic Medicine. Currenly, I am doing my residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Although, I work a crazy amount of hours, I love my job...I get to see patients, teach students, and continue learning from some of the best naturopathic doctors in the field.
