After high school, I traveled around the westcoast for a couple years then went to UCLA, majoring in poetics. After that, I moved to London for a while and finally Manhattan, where I got my MFA in poetry from NYU. I hung out for a month or two then took a job in Holland working for an architectural institute, which eventually led me to live and work in Venice. I returned to Holland and about five months later, realized I'd had enough of the Dutch way of life. I landed back in Manhattan for a bit and now live in Los Angeles and work as the editor and writer for the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
